Many interfaces to EMBOSS are available. These allow you to specify input and output files, set applications options and, of course, run the applications. For many people, an interface makes EMBOSS more accessible. For instance, options for a program might be chosen by using lists, checkboxes and radio buttons, rather than typing commands at the command line. The available interfaces are summarised and include easy to use web-based interfaces, powerful graphical interfaces and workflow interfaces for linking multiple applications and data sources together into analysis pipelines.
